This Week's Sermon: Prophecy continued ( 1-30-15 )

We have to remember that the biggest sign of the return of Jesus is the “ apostasy “.

As I told you, there are born again christians who do not want Jesus to return because of the luxurious lifestyle they are living in which is mainly financially supported by followers who hope by financially supporting them, they too will live this present earthly life in luxury as well.

This is so sad.

But, Biblically, prophetically true.

To want Jesus to return today is the result of a loving relationship with Jesus.

It is one of the biggest signs of the end times that there will ever be.

The great falling away of born again christians who were once of “ the faith “ according to Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is to happen just before the “ antichrist “ comes to power.

The “ rapture “ as is called based on 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 will happen during the great falling away of born again christians from “ the faith “.

The “ antichrist “ is no doubt today, presently alive but he, like any other politician, has to gain ground.

This “ apostasy “ of born again christians that Paul prophesied would happen before Jesus returns will enhance on the “ antichrist's “ political popularity.

The 10 horns of Daniel does not necessarily have to be formed yet during this time period.

Unfortunately, the most important sign of the end times is the falling away of born again christians from “ the faith “.

Always remember, one cannot fall away from or depart from something one was not a part of to begin with....or else it would not be a departure from the faith as Jesus Himself prophesied would happen to His own believers.

The “ rapture “ as is referred to in 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 will be the allowance of the rise of the “ antichrist “.

Fortunately, for those who stay in “ the faith “ at the time of the rapture of 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 will not have to suffer under the reign of the “ antichrist. “

They will be in Heaven with Jesus.
