This Week's Sermon: ( 2-25-16 )

" But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

And he said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."   Mark 14:61-62

" But he saith unto them, It is I: be not afraid. "   John 6:20

" And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. "   Exodus 3:14

" And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. "   Luke 24:27

It is interesting that Jesus told His disciples during the storm on Lake Galilee " It is I " ( in the Greek meaning the same as " I am " ) and also told the high priest the same about Himself, " I am ".

This is how God in the Old Testament described Himself to Moses and the children of Israel, " I AM ".

It is also interesting that after Jesus arose from the dead He told Cleopas and his friend on the road to Emmaus all the Old Testament scriptures that prophesied of Him as being the Christ.

We either believe Jesus is Jehovah in the Old Testament or we do not.

The choice is ours.

Jesus said Abraham even knew of Him;

" Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.   John 8:56-58

Notice Jesus again said, " I am ".

Listen up!

God became a human being, literally flesh, blood and bone and His name is Jesus.

I will talk more about this soon.
