This Week's Sermon (7-7-19)

" For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.  "   Matthew 6:14-15

" If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. "  1 John 1:8-10

" And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  "   Matthew 6:12

My friend, according to Jesus, we must forgive those who have offended us, in order to be forgiven.

I've personally known people who think they have never commited any sin.

One guy told me when I asked him if he died today and stood before God, what reason would God let him into Heaven.

He told me God might like his company.

Nothing is ever said about Jesus.

I know people personally who think they have never commited sin nor done anything wrong to anyone.

According to John, they are liars.

John said:

" If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  "   1 John 1:6

In order to be forgiven, we must forgive. According to Jesus.

I have many people to forgive. I will forgive them before I die so I will be forgiven...according to Jesus.

I personally know people who think they have never commited sin against God nor anyone.

They are going to be in for a shock when they stand before Jesus according to 2 Corinthians 5:10.

"  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. "   2 Corinthians 5:10

I will continue this soon.

Keep your faith in Jesus.
