This Week's Sermon ( 5-2-19 )

" I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.  "   1 Timothy 2:1-6

Even though today here in America is considered to be the National Day of Prayer, Paul meant that prayer for leaders to be an ongoing thing, like prayer for anyone else...not just for today alone.

Paul knew that God wants everyone, not just nation's leaders, to come to salvation in His Son, Jesus.

If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, in any nation throughout this world, like Paul said, pray for your nation's leaders and everyone else in your country, no matter what country you live in, that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Keep your faith in Jesus no matter what.
