This Week's Sermon ( 5-18-20 )

" And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.  "   Luke 22:41-43

We are very fortunate Jesus did not choose to back out of His suffering and death.

Jesus thought of you and me and chose to go throught with it.

Praise you Jesus.

Keep your faith in Jesus and in Him alone as the only way to Heaven.

This Week's Sermon ( 5-2-19 )

" I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.  "   1 Timothy 2:1-6

Even though today here in America is considered to be the National Day of Prayer, Paul meant that prayer for leaders to be an ongoing thing, like prayer for anyone else...not just for today alone.

Paul knew that God wants everyone, not just nation's leaders, to come to salvation in His Son, Jesus.

If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, in any nation throughout this world, like Paul said, pray for your nation's leaders and everyone else in your country, no matter what country you live in, that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Keep your faith in Jesus no matter what.

This Week's Sermon ( 4-23-19 )

" Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.  "
Luke 24:1-7

" This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.  "   Acts  2:32-33

" But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. "   Acts 7:55-56

I was in Israel back in 1993 and saw the hill that Jesus was crucified on and the tomb Jesus was buried in.

I went inside the tomb and I just want to say, believe me...Jesus is not there.

Keep your faith in Jesus.

This Week's Sermon ( 4-16-19 )

" Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. "   Luke 19:30-40

I know God could have caused the rocks to praise Jesus as He was going to Jerusalem, nearing His crucifixion.

God can do anything.

Another thing to keep in mind is that I reckon that colt did not know he was carrying God around, his own creator.

Isaiah said;

" Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. "   Luke 3:8

God amazes me.

As I watch nature, it is amazing to see what Jesus has done.

I've seen incredibly small insects fly near me but recently I saw one that was so small I could not believe how he existed.

As vast as Jesus is, being God, I wondered how He could see to create this insect I saw that was so small, give it a brain, eyesight, hearing and feelings.

My mind is boggled at what God has done.

And this same God died for you and me.

" And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. "   Revelation 5:9-10

Always keep your faith in Jesus and remember to pray for our brothers and sisters in Jesus who are being persecuted because of their faith in Jesus and also remember to pray for our brothers and sisters in Jesus who are suffering in catastrophic conditions of all kinds.

There is a lot going on in the world today.

John ended the book of Revelation with these words;

" He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.  "   Revelation 22:20-21

I wish Jesus would come today.
