This Week's Sermon ( 7-27-17 )

" And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. "   Revelation 13:16-17

Something was recently mentioned in the news that I want to take a moment to talk about.

There is a company here in the USA that got the idea from Europe, ( where this has already been going on ), to implant a microchip in the hand of its employees.

There have been microchips already in the past used for medical information but this microchip has more to it than just medical information.

It gives the employee the ability to buy things with this microchip implanted in their hand.

The company has not made this a mandatory procedure.

The employees that want this in their hand, volunteer.

Obviously, this is not the mark of the beast.

So far, this has nothing to do with the antichrist.

However, when the antichrist does come on the political scene, he will know about this technology and use it for his purpose, later.

My friend, we may be getting closer to the rapture - that is, when Jesus returns to catch His people up into the clouds, than we think.

This event known as the rapture is to happen before the antichrist brings the Jews and the Arabs to signing the 7 year peace treaty...commonly known as the 7 Year Tribulation period.

The antichrist's future mandatory rule, that in order to buy food, gas for the car, etc... one must have his identification mark in the right hand or the forehead he will establish later during the 7 year treaty.

While I was watching this news story, I noticed the microchip shown to the media was being laid on the person's right hand.

I know I could still die before Jesus comes back but I will always watch for His return.

Keep your faith in Jesus and keep watching for Him to return, as Jesus Himself told us to do.

This Week's Sermon: " faith and prosperity gospel " ( 1-5-16 )

Paul said;

" Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. "  1 Corinthians 4:5

What I have to say is concerning the death of my precious wife.

The Lord Himself will judge, someday soon.

Even though Paul layed hands on the sick and prayed for many people that did get healed, not all did.

Paul said quite clearly;

" Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. "  2 Timothy 4:20

Paul also said to Timothy, who he could have prayed for to be healed;

" Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. "  1 Timothy 5:23

Paul reminded the Galatians saying;

" Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.

And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. "   Galatians 4:13-14

Faith, prosperity, positive confession and name it, claim it preachers of today would critically ask Paul, Trophimus and Timothy - " Where is your faith? "... if you can imagine anyone being that arrogant.

My friend, if you have a loved one who has a sign of cancer or anything else that is life threatening, let me encourage you to quit listening to faith, prosperity, positive confession and name it, claim it preachers and get your loved one to the doctor as soon as you can.

There are parents in the USA who are in trouble with the law because of neglect in getting their children to the doctor for treatment, thinking that their faith, prosperity, positive confession and name it, claim it preacher they follow will come through for them.

Get your loved one to the doctor as soon as you can if there is a life threatening situation.

The Lord can still heal in time but we must take precaution to take care of our loved ones, as God did create doctors for a reason and gave them the knowledge to help the sick.

I wonder how many people have died who might still be alive, had they gone to a doctor, rather than listen to faith, prosperity, positive confession and name it, claim it preachers.

The Lord knows and will judge.

This Week's Sermon: Prophecy ( 12-29-15 )

Jesus said;

" And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven  "  Luke 21:11

" And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars ; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. "   Luke 21:25-26

If you are watching the news recently concerning all the severe weather activity going on you will notice that the people who live in these weather conditions are saying that they have never seen anything like it before.

You will hear more and more as time goes by about record breaking weather events and historical conditions, including strange things happening in the sky.

Yes, there has always been bad weather in the past.

However, back then there was no mention of how unusual it there is being said today.

My friend, whether you want Jesus to come back or not, Jesus is coming back.

His return is not based on whether we want Him to come back.

He will come anyway.

Hopefully, when Jesus does decide to return, His followers will certainly be wanting Him to come back.

Personally, I wish Jesus would come today.

Before my wife died she told me she thought Jesus was coming soon.

The apostle Paul thought Jesus was coming back even in his day.

As John said with excitement, even 2000 years ago;

" ...Even so, come, Lord Jesus. "   Revelation 22:20

This Week's Sermon: (12-15-15 )

Paul said;

" And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. "    Galatians 6:9-10

Since the death of my dear wife, I have never read the Bible as much as I do now.

The Holy Spirit, who inspired the words within the Holy Bible, really placed an emphasis on love.  The Lord wants us as believers and followers of Jesus to forgive our enemies, to love one another, forgive one another, and to do good to all people, especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Since I have lost so much in my life there is very little or nothing at all to look forward to anymore.

So, what I have determined to do, is to make a special effort to do nice things for people.

My wife and I have taken bags of groceries, non-perishable food, to the homeless in Downtown Denver, Colorado.

We knew where the homeless lived on the streets.

We would park the car alongside the curb and open the trunk. They would come over and help us unload the groceries. They were so appreciative and thankful for the food.

I'm glad for the Denver Rescue Mission who get donations to share with the homeless as well.

But there is a real blessing that comes in giving food directly to the homeless on the streets.

I still do this and when the groceries are unloaded, I tell them to promise me they will give their heart to Jesus before they die.

They say they will.

If you are like me, going through a time of discouragement and no longer have anything to look forward to, try doing this for the homeless. It certainly gives you something to look forward to.

I also like to take things to eat for the people I work with, that I know they like.

They enjoy it.

It blesses me and gives me pleasure to know they enjoy it and this also gives me something to look forward to.

Try, like Paul said... do good to people.

And also, read your Bible everyday of your life.
