God promised Abraham that he would have descendents that would be vast in numbers.Abraham believed God but got impatient with the Lord's promise ( since he and Sarah were getting old ).Sarah figured that she was maybe to have a child through her maidservant Hagar, so she gave
Hagar to Abraham to also be his wife. Hagar was an Egyptian woman.As a matter of fact, Sarah told Abraham to sleep with Hagar so she could
have a child through her.
Well, Sarah got jealous of Hagar because she got pregnant and sensed that Hagar was looking down her nose at Sarah because she was pregnant and Sarah wasn't. So, Sarah started mistreating Hagar to the point Hagar had to leave home.
After leaving home an angel of God appeared to Hagar and told her to return home and submit herself to Sarah. But the angel also promised Hagar that she would have many descendents. The son conceived in her by Abraham, she was told to name Ishmael - meaning, God shall hear, because the Lord heard Hagar's cry to Him in her trouble with Sarah. The angel told Hagar that her son Ishmael would be a "wild man" - that his attitude would be to rebel against every human being and that everyone would be against him. Keep in mind this side of Abraham's family is known today as 'Arabs'. Arabs are everywhere and they are not restricted to just those born in Saudi Arabia. Also, the other descendents of Abraham through his wife Keturah, the woman he married after Sarah died, are also known as Arabs.God's description of Ishmael as a "wild man" explains much of Arab behavior today.
This explains why the insurgent terrorists, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hezbollah, Iranians, Syrians, and any other Arab country
and/or group of Arabs today, are living up to their ancestor Ishmael - a "wild man".
However, I have to say that it was an Arab taxi driver that told me how to find Jesus' burial tomb. None of the Jews seemed to know.
Abraham was 86 when Ishmael was born.
While Hagar's son Ishmael and his descendents are who we refer to as " Arabs ",
they literally are brother kin to the Jew - that is, half-brother to the Jew… so are the descendents born of Keturah. The Jews
are descendents of Abraham’s son, Isaac... born of Sarah. Now here is where it really gets confusing. Isaac had twin sons and God chose the youngest Jacob, not Esau to be the chosen line. The descendents of Esau are to serve the descendents of the younger, Jacob. Jacob’s name was later changed to Israel and his direct lineage was to be known as Jews. Both Jew and Arab all
have the same Dad but a different Mom. Arabs are also known today as Egyptians which is what Hagar herself was. Arabs are also known today because of mixed marriages as Syrians, Iranians,
Jordanians, Iraqis, etc... I know that Iranians prefer to be called Persians, as at one
time they were a mixed breed called Persians in the Persian Empire, but they are still 'Arabs', descendents of Ishmael or possibly Keturah… I wonder if they even know.
So again, when I mention 'Arabs' I'm talking about direct descendents of Hagar and Ishmael her son, and/or Keturah.
After Abraham's son Ishmael was born, 13 years later when Abraham turned 99, God appeared
to him and promised a covenant between Himself and Abraham. God told him that
Sarah, who was now 90, would give him a son. Abraham laughed at the idea of the 2 of them
having children at their age. At this, Abraham said to God, " Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!"
Genesis 17:18
But God said that Sarah would bare a son and he was to be named Isaac.
God told Abraham as for Ishmael, He would bless Ishmael and give him 12
sons referred to as " princes ". These 12 sons are today referred to as the 12 tribes of Islam by the Arabs.
This title is what Arabs incorporated into their 'new religion Islam', which came much later after Christ.
Islam did not exist at this time when Ishmael had these 12 sons.
Islam came in later centuries after Jesus in an act of Arab rebellion against Judaism, the religion of the Jews.
Arabs were blessed (only in multiplying in numbers) by God as well as the Jews but Arabs were not the ones God established His covenant with. Arabs were not blessed with the promise that they would give birth to the Savior of the world, Jesus - and that through Jesus all the nations of the earth would be blessed. This is a promise God made to Abraham that would be through his wife Sarah, then Isaac, then Jacob and so forth. The Jews are the recipients of these promises and blessings God made, not their half-brother Arabs. This is what makes Arabs full of hatred today. This is why they seek to murder all Jews.
This is the root of the 'Arab-Israeli ' conflict.
God told Abraham that His personal covenant between Himself and
Abraham would be established through Isaac, whom Sarah would bare 1 year later, making Abraham 99 years old.
The descendents through Sarah from Isaac forward would be known as Jews.
This is the problem between Arabs and Jews. Arabs think (wish) they are the chosen ones
and have even lied to the world about God making the promise of His covenant through Ishmael, rather than Isaac.
The tension remains to this day. This is why there is always strife in the Middle East.
The Arabs know that the Jews are the chosen ones and that the land from the Nile River
in Egypt to Baghdad God gave to the Jews. But the Arabs cannot and will not accept this.
God never meant to destroy the Arabs and spread the Jews everywhere. God means to
allow Arabs to increase in number and have a home too. But the Arabs want to destroy their brother the Jews and wipe
them off the earth. Again, keep in mind that the organization Hezbollah are half-brother kin to the Jews they
are trying to kill. The group of Arabs called Hezbollah are direct descendents of Hagar and Ishmael, the son whom God
told Hagar would be a "wild man".
In later centuries after Jesus was born the Arabs got tired of the hypocrisy
among the Jewish leaders of Judaism. The popular Arab known as Muhammad rebelled
against the religious leaders and thought to improve on Judaism. He still believed in the
same God as the Jews but was tired of the corruption among the leaders of Judaism. I guess Muhammad actually meant
well and never actually intended to start another religion denouncing the God of Abraham and presenting a new god to the people. This new god 'allah' was introduced later. Don't let any muslim tell you that 'allah' is the same God we believe in. This allah who muslims worship, condones murder. It is a god they conjured up to justify murdering Jews and anyone who is not a muslim.
Historically, the religious book for the Arabs known as the Koran, was never written by Muhammad. The Koran was written after his death by another Arab later who claimed he could 'remember' things Muhammad said.
A new god was then introduced in the Koran.
Again, this new conjured up god 'allah' condones murder... contrary to the God of Abraham that declared,
" Thou shalt not kill " ( murder).
According to this other Arab who wrote the Koran ( the Islam bible ) this new god demanded that
the Arabs follow Muhammad to get to Heaven. The God of Abraham said to follow His Son Jesus to get
to Heaven. And yes, Abraham knew about Jesus centuries before Jesus was even born.
The problem with Judaism came during the 400 years of time from the moment
the Jewish prophet Malachi penned his last words to the time Jesus was born. Judaism lost sight of their own prophecies concerning their Messiah Jesus, to be born in Bethlehem and die on a cross. The Jews were looking for a war hero to set them free from the Romans. Jesus did not do this and the Jews rejected Him and murdered Him.
Remember, at one time Arabs were indirectly a part of Judaism. Then in later centuries invented Islam as an act of rebellion toward the Jews of Judaism.
Islam has a wild variety of beliefs.
Islam teaches its followers ( known as muslims ) to murder anyone who is not a muslim and
hat this act of murdering anyone who is not a muslim will provide
atonement for personal sins and get a muslim to Heaven. For the men who are muslims - if muslim men
murder a Jew, American, European, African, Asian, Latino or anyone who is not a muslim, he will
be rewarded with eternal sex with virgin women. Not sure what women muslims will get.
Keep in mind...Arabs are not the only muslims. Muslims are everywhere in the world.
Muslims live here in the USA and would murder those of us who are not muslim if it weren't for our laws forbidding murder.
Another reason muslims might not be sending suicide bombers into our shopping malls here in the USA is because muslims are enjoying financial prosperity here in the USA... something they cannot do in most muslim countries. So, money talks louder than Islam doctrine here.
It could also be that another reason some muslims do not murder those of us who are not muslim is because of their 'conscience'. When God created us He gave us something called a "conscience". This conscience God gave us tells us that it is wrong to commit murder. Even though the Koran ( the bible of Islam ) teaches and encourages murder - that is,
to murder any human being who is not a muslim, muslims who still have a 'working conscience' and have not
yet calloused their conscience God gave them when they were born, might realize in their heart that it is wrong
to murder... even though their religion Islam says it is ok to murder. This might be why not all muslims are suicide bombers, murdering innocent men, women and children. I asked an Arab muslim one time why his god would allow
other muslims in the trade towers to die in 911 and he responded with, " Who knows the ways of allah "?
Islam was no doubt established by Arabs in an attempt to justify murdering Jews and anyone who was not a muslim.
Islam is a religion born of intense hatred - characterized by Ishmael and his Arab descendents.
Whoever says that Islam is a peaceful religion is simply ignorant. It is a religion that is characterized by the nature of its people.
Interestingly enough though, not all Arabs immediately went along with the newly founded religion Islam at the start, and not all Arabs immediately accepted the idea of a new god. But later did from being coerced. It was either be a muslim ( follower of Islam) or be murdered. This is what Islam is today threatening the world with now, either become a muslim or be murdered.
But then again, they murder each other because of differences within beliefs inside Islam. So if they demand that we become muslim, which kind of muslim - Kurd, Shia or Sunni? They all murder each other anyway!
An important note here - while muslims acknowledge Jesus as a good man, muslims think that Jesus was insane when He claimed to be God. This amazes me... Islam, an insanely murderous, bitter, defiant and full of hatred people toward all mankind including their own - Shiite, Kurd and Sunni muslims all hating each other as well, murdering each other, making their women slaves to the men ( the Islam Koran stating that women are " a step lower than men " ) while muslims like Saddam justify slinging innocent babies and splattering them against the wall, and while muslim kids torture helpless animals in cages at the local Zoo - having the audacity to say that Jesus is insane. Incredible, huh?
The hatred never stops. And it is all done in the name of their new imaginary god, 'allah'. Islam is the only religion I know of that condones murder.
However, someday as with the Jews, Arabs will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in the future.
I have been told that there are even now born again christian Arabs who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I can only hope this is true but I know it will happen for sure in the future for at least, some of them.
They do not know this now but they will then!
Ironically though, Islam is not a religion that I would categorize as a 'deceptive religion'. Its doctrinal beliefs are quite obvious that it is 'off the deep end '. The fact that muslims think that Jesus was insane, Islam promoting murder for sex, and the way Islam treats women, I would think that even to a fool this would make it quite obvious that Islam is not a religion to pursue.
I cannot imagine why women would submit to Islam which says women are a step lower than men. Interesting enough, someone from my own church I grew up in, left his faith and became a muslim. He is a classic example of what I discuss on my page on " Apostasy - an Ignored Topic. " Anyone can change their faith at will.
