Letter of Inroduction  Even though this will be read by many people, I'm writing this letter for a certain few who I'm particularly concerned about. I have many relatives, friends and family and have known so many people during my life (both saved and unsaved) who I would like to continue being around for all eternity... but I know this will not happen. I started this letter after a heart attack I had in October of 2002. I have written and re-written this many times. It is something I seem compelled to do and cannot rest until it is finished. I'm not saying that God told me to write this but I'm somehow driven to write what is in this website. If we claim that the Lord told us something we better hope He really did. I know I would not take it kindly if I was quoted on something I never said. I have purposely been putting off presenting it to anyone because I also have made lots of mistakes in my life, knowing I'm certainly not a role model christian either. So, what I say to you I am saying to myself as well. I'm definitely not trying to change anyone or convince anyone, because I already know that most of you will disagree with me as this does not go along with what is preached from behind the pulpit in today's church. What I am trying to do is to give you something to think about. In this day and age of incredible deception, both in the secular world and most importantly in the religious realm, I write this with sincere concern. I believe this day and age in which we live is the most incredibly deceptive time human beings have ever lived in. As with some of you, I made the mistake of becoming rebellious against the Lord many years ago. I am amazed now, at how certain christians I have always respected as strong christians in the faith are now the ones who I'm concerned about. It reminds me of a professor at Central Bible College saying, " In a group of this size I imagine not all of us will 'make it'." * Read my page " Will All Your Family Make It?" I know that for most of you this website will be a bore and most of you will not go beyond this page. Some people are just not interested in a Bible Study. Fortunately, God was good to bring my wife Bibi into my life, who is a born again Spirit filled christian. She has helped me a great deal in getting back into church. I'm writing this to both the saved and the unsaved.. the only 2 categories of people in God's eyes. | |
